Private Pottery Events

Private events can be for two or twenty people. Events with one or two people are typically on the wheel, events with three or more people have wheel and hand-building practice. Instructors will demonstrate techniques for hand-building to the group, and take individuals on the wheel for supportive instruction.

• Two hours of individualized instruction in a community workspace. All materials and tools included.​​

​

• Events of 1-6 people are two hours​, and events with 7 or more guests are three hours.

 

• We can accommodate up to 20 guests. To book more than 7 guests, book a "Private Party for 7 People" and then "Add-on" up to 13 additional guests. Groups of 7 or larger that require an extra hour will add $200 automatically upon checkout.​ Call or email us if you have questions.

• $75 per person with a minimum of two people.

• Make as much as you want and keep only what you love. Finishing and firing fees are $7/piece for any items you want to keep.

• Private event glaze choices are limited to simplify the process of finishing your work as quickly as possible. See the five color samples here. You may pick one color/piece to finish your work

• Work is ready for pickup or shipping about 6-8 weeks after your event. You will receive an email when your work is ready for pickup. Shipping is also available for an additional fee starting at $20 for 4 pieces to one address.

• Please note children must be 6 years or older to use the pottery wheel, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• Studio etiquette requires that everyone cleans up after themselves. Please expect cleaning up to take you about 20 minutes with everyone helping after your party, and large parties may take longer. If you will be pressed for time, an optional alternative is to book clean up service as add-on to your appointment during registration. Prices start at $36; add $18 for each guest after the first two.
