Welcome to Kingston Ceramics Studio's
All Things Clay Blog!
We are a community clay studio in the Hudson Valley owned and operated by Lex Feldheim. Located in the historic little city of Kingston, NY, the studio is in the heart of the Midtown Arts District. With 3,000 square feet on the third floor of the Shirt Factory, 70 members, 12 classes weekly, open studio hours, private lessons and parties; it's a busy place!
Why a blog?
Lex put together a Dream Team in 2021. We met weekly and dreamed of all the things we would do once we got the new website finished- the first big goal. The new website was launched at the beginning of this year. We still wanted to add more content so a blog was the next goal.
As 2022 is coming to an end, we are now called the admin committee and have more members. We're spending less time dreaming and more time getting it done! Goals are important and we're happy to welcome you to the early beginnings of the KCS All Things Clay Blog. We hope to cover many topics and are open to any suggestions!
